Lansing is a really fun player to watch when he is on the ice. He always seems to be involved in the play throwing hits, battling for pucks, and forcing turnovers with a strong stick. He is annoying to play against on the forecheck as he always seems to get his stick on the puck or at least making defensemen feel uncomfortable. His speed was able to force the Canadians into taking a tripping penalty on him after beating them wide. Lansing does a good job of supporting the puck and is quick to enter battles. He is difficult to take the puck from simply because of how strong he is on his stick which also helps him win more puck battles.
