EVENT 2026 OHL Draft Final Evaluation
Projection: Shutdown Defender
Tools: Net-front Presence, Physicality
Development Opportunities: Mobility, Puck Play
Logan Disher is your archetypal big-bodied stay-at-home type of defenceman. He battles hard in front of his own goal and is able to squish out opposing attackers along the boards, winning pucks for his team and snuffing out plays with solid shot suppression. He uses his stick well to guide traffic and can cut off lanes and pressure opposing players with sound positioning. What he lacks in dynamic ability with the puck, he makes up for by neutralizing the opposition. Although, Disher showed some real growth as a puck mover, making strong outlet passes and some solid retrievals down the stretch.
Disher will have to continue to work on his play with the puck. He has shown some improvements as the season went on but there is no denying that there is room for development here. On top of that, Disher will need to become a more mobile defender if he wants to be able to keep up and control gaps as he advances in his career.

Logan is a quintessential stay-at-home right-handed defenceman. He possesses good size, using his large frame to occupy space and battle opposing forwards in front of his own goal and along the boards. At times throughout the game, he flashed good puck carrying ability, moving up ice with possession and the ability to activate in transition and break the puck out of his own end. This is a skill that has consistently improved as the year has gone on, where he even shows flashes of more refined puckskill.

Game Information 2026 Alliance All Star Game
A prototypical defensive defenceman, Logan Disher has the ability to shut down his opponents and battle in front of the net. In this game as well, he was able to move the puck quite well, making use of short passes to progress play for Team White and help support the rush. Even at times flashing his puckskills and creating a bit of space. Of course, his bread and butter comes in his own end where he is capable of stepping up and challenging opposing forwards and use his reach and physicality to win pucks for his teammate.

Game Information Alliance U16: Huron-Perth Lakers vs. Windsor Spitfires
Both Dishers played with some physicality, Logan moreso by punishing opposing players in front of his crease and finishing checks along the boards. He uses his large frame well, cutting off opposing players and steering them into the wall with his long reach. He was used as more of the stay-at-home partner on his pair but when he does go back for retrievals, he shows some calmness on the breakout with a decent first pass. His skating could use some polishing but he is a fairly mobile defender who can keep up with the play and stay above the puck on rush defence.
