EVENT 2024 Toronto Titans Tournament
I noted Chisholm back at the OHF for his smart decision-making and play-linking, and that was once again the theme of my views of him at the Titans Tournament. Whenever he had the puck, his eyes were up, scanning his options, and he always seemed to make the right play. All over the ice, this theme held true; whether it was to exit his zone, spot a cutting teammate in the slot area, or a simple pass to a defender at the point, Chisholm was almost always able to spot the right passing option. Especially from along the wall or from the corner, he thrived as a distributor, moving pucks to teammates in the middle of the ice for countless scoring chances.

EVENT 2024 Draft Day Showcase
In my reports from the OHF Championship, I highlighted Chisholm for his puck management and possession mindset, which is more of what I saw over the Draft Day Showcase. His game once again revolved around his smart and calculated touches to evade defenders and maintain possession within his team's control. So often, there were moments when I thought he would get closed down or opt for a simple dump-in, and he made the correct read to navigate to safety and keep the puck secure. These quality on-puck decisions enabled MacLean to thrive with the puck on his stick, advance play, and find ways to generate high-danger chances. All weekend long, he controlled the puck to the outside, escaping pressure with clever puck touches, and then spotted open teammates in the slot or across the offensive zone for quality scoring. These cerebral puck possession players who can consistently drive dangerous results are always the ones that will cross my notes, and that is the recurring theme now with Chisholm over two events.

EVENT 2024 OHF U15 Championships
Two forwards on the Red Devils caught my eye in their game against Myers, Chisholm being the first of the two. With MacLean, he showed impressive puck management and creativity. Whenever MacLean touched the puck, he prioritized possession and found ways to link plays with control. Especially in the neutral zone, he never rushed his decisions and showed that he could play with a tactical lens to manage the puck and advance plays up ice. If he had no options up ice, Chisholm didn't hesitate to turn back, regroup, and try again, speaking to the possession mindset I value highly. It wasn't anything flashy or highlight-reel worthy, but there were just a lot of plays that were very practical to escape pressure and win controlled offensive zone entries.

Game Information OMHA East Playoffs
Chisholm was the forward who was making everything happen for the Red Devils. He was constantly winning battles all over the ice, contesting loose pucks, and just always being a pest to opposition puck carriers. After winning possession, Maclean often exploded up ice, carried pucks through the neutral zone with control, and helped the Red Devils spark rush chances. Maclean scored two, both off shots from the exterior, namely one two-on-one shot where he picked the short side corner.

Game Information 2024 OMHA Crossover
I've always noticed Chisholm's constant ability to process plays correctly and choose the right path forward, which was once again the core of my assessment. Whenever he got the puck, he was processing all of his options, scanning for threats, and almost always made a play to maintain possession. Maclean rarely conceded possession and always spotted the right play, making him crucial in Quinte's ability to exit their end and enter the offensive zone with control. I never thought he was a poor skater; I just noticed him being much more powerful and explosive in this viewing, which was great to see.
