EVENT 2026 OHL Draft Final Evaluation
Projection: Top Six Upside
Strengths: Puck Handling, Playmaking, Creativity
Development Opportunities: Skating, Discipline
In terms of raw puck skills and offensive creativity, Lee brings a lot to get excited about. There is a real confidence to his game, showing plenty of high-end flashes where he beats a defender and creates a scoring chance through sheer skill. The handling allows him to get through the first layer of defence with ease, deceive defenders, and open up space for his playmaking to shine. With the puck in the offensive zone Lee can be lethal, especially on the power play, and that aspect of his game is what you are betting on when you take him.
The big question mark is the skating. Lee will need to become more explosive and agile on his feet to keep pace and fend off pressure at the OHL level. I also like that he plays on the edge and isn’t shy about the physical side of things, but staying disciplined will be another key moving forward. At this stage of the draft where we get into the project tier, Lee is near the top of that group for me given the high-end offensive tools and the upside if the feet can get there.

Game Information 2025 Toronto Marlboros Holiday Classic vs. London
Jack Lee is a slick winger who impressed with his flashy hands and quick feet. He was very active in transition, being sure to make a pass to his teammates upon entry. He made his presence felt for the London defenders with his passing ability and willingness to shoot the puck although was unable to muster up offence on the score sheet. He was a consistent driver and contributed for his team.

Game Information 2026 OHL Cup WC vs. Central Ontario Wolves
All game long, Lee was confident with the puck on his stick. Every time he touched the puck, he was trying to make a play, using his handling to make moves around defenders and try to attack. The sense to know when to make a move came through in this viewing, as Lee was rarely shut down and often successful in navigating around sticks and attacking the scoring areas. It didn’t amount to anything on the scoresheet, but Jack was controlling the game in the offensive zone and showcasing what he could do with the puck on his stick consistently in this one.
