Myloserdnyy was using his size and reach advantage to positively impact the game in all three zones for Team Bourque, earning himself player of the game honours in the process. He was showing confidence in joining the attack off the rush, often acting as the primary puck carrier and showing some deceptive speed through the neutral zone. There was a couple of times in this game where he broke up a play in the neutral zone, skated the puck into the offensive zone and delivered a slip pass into the slot for a scoring chance. He was quite aggressive in defending the rush as well, often stepping up on attackers with a big body check or using his reach and wingspan to force them to the outside.
