The American captain didn’t have his best showing this series as he allowed the breakaway for the CHL’s first goal. He also had a turnover leading to the first goal of the second game after losing his footing. Despite two difficult starts to games, Barnett showed he could lead the rush and have good vision all over the ice. He was able to draw a penalty by using his speed and spring his forwards on an odd man rush. He’s a smooth skater with good puck moving ability.
