A big, right-handed foward, O’Neil was hard on the forecheck throwing his body around and punishing opposing defenders. He has great puck protection skills, using his frame to shed defenders. O’Neil is also defensively responsible playing a solid 2-way game. His offensive opportunities came off the rush as he showed some good vision setting up his teammates. As he gets faster more offense will come for O’Neil, as he looks to be a real solid player.
