A forward who began to catch my eye more as the showcase went on, Luca Cannata did a nice job getting involved and earning himself some high quality chances. He did really well to find some pockets of space on the ice that he knew he would be able to post up in and allow the playmakers on his team to find him the puck. His habit of keeping himself quiet around the defense before springing into action shows his ability to read the game at a high level and intelligently play to his strengths.

Another driving force of the lethal Bishop Kearney offense, Luca Cannata was able to walk away from Bridgewater with two goals and an assist as the Selects were operating on all cylinders. Cannata was a thorn in the side of defenses all weekend as he was in on the forecheck and causing problems for puck carriers. He is another smaller forward on the Selects team and like Nimmer he provides a nice boost of speed and skill when he is on the ice and loves being on the puck. His puck distribution and decision making enable him to find much of his success on the ice and he quickly moves off the puck to get into good supporting areas.
