Scouting Report
EVALUATED 03/12/2024Cameron Patton
Regional Scout - USA
At 6’2, Moore is a big body with some good speed. His defensive ability really stood out in this series as it was difficult for the Americans to create offense. He has a great stick in the D zone and on the forechek, plays physical, and was tremendous on the penalty kill blocking shots and winning faceoffs. He made multiple second efforts in the D zone to steal pucks, and he broke up a 2 on 1 late in the second game. With the puck, Moore has good puck protection skills, knowing how to effectively use his size. He also has good vision, springing Lansing for a breakaway on a penalty kill. When he adds some more weight and muscle combined with his speed and tenacity he will become a more dominant power forward.
